Privacy policy

This app is made by one person. Here is exactly what happens to your information — in plain words.

What we collect

• Your email (so you can log in).
• The finance data you type in — transactions, bills, savings goals, accounts and notes.

Where it lives

In the app operator’s database (a Supabase / PostgreSQL project running on cloud infrastructure). It is not kept only on your device.

Who can see it

Row-Level Security walls your data off from other users — they can never see yours. The operator can technically open the database rows, and commits to only doing so for support or debugging, and only with your consent.

What we never do

• Never sell your data.
• No advertising.
• This site sets no cookies at all — not for logins, not for counting, not for anything.
• No advertising trackers and no cross-site profiling. Cloudflare, which serves this site, counts page views for us in aggregate; it sets no cookies and cannot follow you to other websites. Nothing about your money is included.

The anonymous counts

So I can tell whether the app is any use to anybody, a few plain steps are counted. Each one is counted once per browser, ever — not every time you do it:

• a landing page was opened, and whether anyone actually touched or scrolled it
• the same browser came back on a later day
• the demo was opened, and whether anything was added inside it
• the signup form was opened, an account was created, and setting up was finished
• a first transaction was saved
• the add box, the one-tap card, or the planner was opened for the first time

Each count records only a random number your browser makes up for itself, the date and hour, whether the screen is phone-, tablet- or desktop-sized, and the name of the site you arrived from (for example “google.com” — never the full link). That is the entire list.

The random number stays in your browser so the same person is not counted twice for the same step, and so a visit on a later day can be recognised as the same browser rather than a new person. It is not linked to your account, your email, or anything you type, and nothing about your money is ever counted — not one figure. No cookies, no IP address, and no outside company are involved: the counts go to the same database as the rest of the app and nowhere else. The time is rounded to the hour deliberately, so a count can never be matched up against something you saved. And if your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” signal, nothing is sent at all.

Third-party services

A few outside services make the app work, and none of them ever receive your financial data:

• Google Fonts — the typefaces.
• cdn.jsdelivr.net — the JavaScript libraries the app is built on.
• Simple Icons — the brand logos shown on the landing page.
• Cloudflare — serves the website and counts page views in aggregate.

Each of those only sees your IP address, like any normal web request — nothing about your money is ever sent there. Supabase stores your data (the database, your login, and the hero images and artwork), encrypted in transit, and is the only service that holds what you enter.

How long we keep it

Until you delete it. Delete your account and it is all gone.

Your controls

• Export everything as a JSON file anytime.
• Delete your whole account and data from inside the app.

Cookies & storage

No cookies at all. What is kept in your browser is your login session, your preferences (theme, language), the random number described above, and — once you are signed in — a copy of your own records, so the app opens instantly and keeps working with no internet.

That copy is your transactions, accounts, bills, budgets, goals, debts and shop records. It never leaves the device it is on, and it is deleted when you sign out and when you delete your account. If you are only trying the demo, none of it is written at all.
